We tried to get close to the White House but there was some secret security operation going on and they wouldn't let us near it. So we went on the grass by the Washington Monument where we could at least see it from a distance.
We ate lunch at this awesome place called Ollie's. It wasn't fancy at all but it was so fun and the food was terrific. We all had burgers and fries and shakes. They had this wonderful 40's music playing the whole time. So great!
This is at the National Gallery of Art. We saw so many amazing paintings!!! This particular one is a self portrait of Vincent Van Gogh. His brush actually touched this very painting! So Amazing!!!
We started out at the Air and Space Museum....I think it's called that. After that the men went home and us girls and Steph's mom wandered around the city. This picture is us being stewardesses and mannequins and such.
It looks like you had a blast! I can't wait to hear all about the trip over the phone!
